Steve Smith is a strategic finance partner with over 20 years of corporate finance experience across multiple industries. Steve's understanding of key profit drivers influences strategic and operational decisions. Through his partnership with commercial leadership and insight into the business, he has helped deliver strong top- and bottom-line results for several organizations, including Fortress Interlocks, where he served as CFO. During his time at Fortress, Steven helped shape the new business strategy which led to 2x sales growth over 5 years. He also led the successful integration project for a £37m acquisition, a sustainability team achieving carbon neutral status in 2021, and developed and implemented a total management review and control process covering: Financial, Operational, Business Development & Sales, EH&S, HR performance.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the The University of Sheffield.
